🚔 Mountsorrel Beat Team Weekly Update

Your local beat team have been out and about in Mountsorrel this week, continuing to engage with the community and provide reassurance. 

Officers visited a local care establishment where they spoke with staff and offered crime prevention and safeguarding advice, supporting vulnerable settings within the area.

A Beat Surgery was also held at the Mountsorrel Memorial Centre, giving residents the opportunity to raise concerns and speak directly with their local officers.

Welfare checks have been carried out for a vulnerable resident to ensure they are safe and supported, with follow-up visits planned where required.

High-visibility patrols have taken place across identified hotspot areas within the village to deter anti-social behaviour and provide reassurance, while the team have also been progressing ongoing anti-social behaviour reports. 

One officer additionally attended two days of training at Leicestershire Police Headquarters to maintain and update their skills.
